Bat furres, a species called Chiroptera. Cute, big eared and winged arm furres, about the size of musties. I think they would be realy popular among vamps. Furcadia could make some money if they gave the chiroptera flying animations for furres with wings. Tiby sugested also giving them an exclusive pay avatar to turn into a true bat, small like a familiar.

This poll has the suggestions for the next most likely avatar species, I believe. |

If you hop over to the Patches forum, on the second page, Ami noMiko has posted a message about a bat avatar patch she's working on. Mebbe you can find out from her when it's done where you can find it. =n.n=

The word chiroptera, and it's close similarity to "chiropita" (Greek: cheese pastry/pie) was the source for a longrunning family joke.
When we lived in Greece, we told all the locals that the word "chiropita" confused us because a common food in England was the "Nichteridhopita"... bat pie. They all believed us, and were appalled :) Well, it was funny at the time, anyway. |

Screw the facts. That sounds pretty cool; Furcadia can always use more ways to make money. 'Nuff said.

Actually, the bat as an avatar that turns into a smaller feral bat when you give it Batwings would be even better.

Wings don't give you an additional avatar yet, and combining the bat wings with the mouse avatar gets you your standard bat. As of right now, there isn't any specific type of animal as an avatar. Even the dragon, gryffe, and phoenix avatars are general molds, not specific types of their particular species.
And did we need to dig up a two year old post to say "me too"? |

It wouldnt do well as a free advitar do to not all vampires have bat forms. Having them as a sellable item would be alot better. Though I wouldnt spend 1 red cent to buy any of the Furc features, I would be willing to trade for something like bat wings. (I find Digos to cheap for the money their wanting.)

Well, I play a bat... and a bat avatar (or wings) is the last thing in the world that I want.
